Rescued Art

Heyn was an artist and landscape painter. He died in 1894, so this is a print from a very old work. It is signed in the plate. The original for this piece was most likely artist’s pastels. The look is soft and lush.

The overall presentation of this piece is very striking and bold. It is double matted with a 3.5″ wide mahogany frame. It would be perfect for a lodge, cabin, or country home.

Cleaned throughout with refinished frame, new backing paper and hanging hardware. Excellent condition. (The original price was $299 as marked on the back along with the title.)
