Rescued Art

26″ H x 21″ W. Rare print by Emily Fiegenschuh who is a master of fantasy characters. She is famed as an illustrator of many books and games.
Fiegenschuh lives in Washington state and is perhaps inspired by the Puget Sound to create this undersea scape. It depicts a marsh nymph who, as the myth goes, can live on the land but always maintains gills for water breathing.
Double matted with a metalic piping. Excellent condition throughout. Cleaned with refinished silver-leafed wood frame, new backing paper and hanging hardware.
