Rescued Art

22″H x 18″W. Pair of prints by Dorothy Williams Stuart, a well-known pen & ink artist who lived in Fresno, California. These are two of a set of twelve limited edition scenes of the Fresno area created by Stuart in 1984. If you are trying to collect the entire set, these are a good place to start. The prints have an antiqued look and a very unique minimalist color quality.
The Fresno Water Tower is a beloved example of old stone architecture and the Boy with a Leaking Boot is a cult figure present in several city squares around the county, including upstate in Ellenville, New York.
Prints are limited edition in a run of 150, pencil signed and titled. Excellent condition throughout: cleaned with refinished oak frames, new shadow mats, backing paper, and hanging hardware.
