35″W x 25″H. The original watercolor upon which this print is based was painted in 1903 by the most Swedish famous watercolorist, Carl Larsson. He is said to have painted in the realist mode of the Arts & Crafts style. If so, his realist view of the world is filled with the most delightful bright colors! This scene takes place at Larsson’s family home, the “Little Hyttnäs” which became well-known through out Europe because of its being the setting for so many of Larsson’s works.
